December 1994 IIV originally titled this CD of extended versions and rarities “Collection.” The record company added “Best of” to the title although the single versions of Call It Love, In The House, Save It and Educated Man are not on this disc.
In another incident of missing master tapes, Everything About You was mixed by Joe and John MacLean
Nothing Stays was recorded with Dee Long in January 1986 along with two other songs intended for an album to be released on Quality to follow the In The House 12".
Tonight was recorded in November 1990 with the intentions of being a new single, but IIV was unable to work out a deal to release the single until this CD in 1994. There was a video made for the song, but, as happened before, the master of the video was lost by the production company so there was no finished version to release. Dave Rout (Datafreq, Rational Youth) provided a TR-909 drum machine part.
The extended version of Educated Man was only released on tape to DJs in 1982, while Grapevine is from the March 1982 unreleased album.
